On Tuesday, the Board of the Local Government of the Town Hall of Lleida approved the expropriation from ´Sociedad de Gestión de Activos Procedentes de la Reestructuración Bancaria´ (Sareb) of a plot of land located between Calle Galera and Calle de la Ereta, which, according to the city council, is going to be used to complete one of the areas of Social and Urban Innovation that the Paeria is promoting in the Historic Centre.

The area that is going to be expropriated is located at numbers 11-13 Calle Galera and 4-6 Calle de la Ereta, according to a statement issued by the Town Hall.

Following this expropriation, the plot will be incorporated into the so-called Local Development Area 97, an urban development space that forms part of the Areas of Social and Urban Innovation, where different smaller plots of land are joined together to create larger plots.
