Unnamed British and German funds have purchased three buildings in the Eixample and the Raval districts in Barcelona for a total amount of €18 million from financial entities and insurance firms. The buyers will now renovate the properties for sale or rent.
The information was made public by Coldwell Banker España & Andorra that mediated on the operations. Also, at the beginning of the year, the firm launched its own corporative asset line in Spain, including private and REO assets (plots, buildings, retails and hotels located mainly in Madrid and Barcelona) valued at billions of euros in total.
The real estate company also mediates on residential assets sales in Spain and currently it is expanding in the country through its franchise arms. Foreigners outnumber the domestic clients of the firm and moreover ‘they are showing grand interest about the country‘s properties due to their unbeatable value-for-money ratio‘.
