Riu Completes the Sale of the Shopping Arcade in Edificio España to Inbest for €160M

Riu Hoteles & Resort has formalised the sale of the shopping arcade in Edificio España in Madrid to the Socimi Inbest Real Estate through the registration of the corresponding public deed.

The shopping arcade, which has a surface area of 15,000 m2 spread over four floors, will be remodelled this year ahead of its scheduled opening at the end of 2020.

In the meantime, Inbest, which is chaired by Javier Basagoiti, is considering proposals from textile and restaurant firms with the aim of opening several flagship stores in the space.
