Residential Rental Prices Rose by 8.3% in January, According to Fotocasa

Rental house prices in the Spanish market rose by 3.8% in monthly terms and by 8.3% in annual terms, to reach €10.6/m2 in January, according to data from Fotocasa.

The national average rental price was 30% below the figure recorded in the Community of Madrid, where rental prices amounted to €15.1/m2/month, making it the most expensive region, up by 2% in monthly terms and up by 4.3% in annual terms. Meanwhile, in Cataluña, rental prices stood at €14.7/m2/month in January, up by 3.7% in monthly terms; and in the País Vasco, the average price was €13.5/m2, up by 3.1% in monthly terms.
