Madrid to Spend €1.7M on the Renovation of 7 Historical Colonies

The Spanish capital’s City Council is going to execute a renovation plan for a set of neighbourhoods protected by the General Urban Development Plan (PGOU) for their historical and architectural value since they are “exceptional examples of urban planning from that era”.

The 7 historical colonies in Madrid are mostly located in the Chamartín district.
