Invesco chooses Spain as one of the key investment targets for its property management division Invesco Real Estate (IRE) that has just bought a servicer from Doughty Hanson & Co.
The portfolio acquired by the British firm is valued at €533 million and includes assets in Spain, the United Kingdom and Italy. It embraces two shopping centers in our country: the Plaza Eboli in Pinto and the El Rosal in Ponferrada.
Inside the operation, eight experts of Doughty Hanson will support IRE in search of real estate investment opportunities, mainly in Madrid and London. Invesco already owns several buildings in Spain.
In Europe, Invesco manages over 140 assets, scattered around more than twelve countries and worth of nearly $7 billion and it administers $53 billion and employs 360 specialists in 19 branches all around the world.
