INE: House Sales Fell by 9.3% YoY in November

According to data compiled by Spain’s National Institute of Statistics (INE), house sales fell by 9.3% YoY in November to 38,680 operations, whereby recording four consecutive months of YoY decreases.

The decline in November was driven by second-hand homes, whose sales fell by 10.5% YoY to 31,008. Meanwhile, sales of new-build homes also decreased, by 3.6%, to 7,672.

By autonomous region, Andalucía recorded the most sales in November (8,391), followed by Valencia (5,996), Cataluña (5,885) and Madrid (5,021).
