GMP Awards Refurbishment Of Castellana 81 To OHL

The Socimi GMP has awarded the contract to refurbish the office building on Paseo de la Castellana 81, in Madrid, to the construction company OHL. Until a few months ago, the property housed the corporate headquarters of BBVA.

GMP has taken advantage of the bank’s move, to a new complex in Las Tablas, to renovate this building and it has an investment budget of €14.3 million. OHL was commissioned to construct the building, designed by the architect Francisco Sáenz de Oizaa, through Obrascón, between the years 1978 and 1981.
