Drago Capital Puts its Hotel in Central Sevilla up for Sale for c.€70M

24 January 2020 – ABC de Sevilla

Drago Capital has put the former headquarters of Banco de Andalucía located in the centre of Sevilla up for sale for between €65 million and €70 million.

The real estate investment platform acquired the property, which is located on Calle Fernández y González, 4 from Banco Popular in 2016 for around €25 million. It has subsequently carried out a €35 million renovation project to convert the building, which spans 8,200 m2, into a 95-room boutique hotel with 2,000 m2 of retail space.

The renovation work is almost complete and so the hotel will open soon, in time for Easter and the Feria de Sevilla. It will operate under the Marriott brand as a 4-star AC Hotels property, forming part of the Autograph collection.
