Drago Capital Hires Javier Catena

Drago Capital, a real estate investment and management company specialized in the Iberian Peninsula has welcomed Javier Catena as a new Director for Asset Management.

Catena, 43, has got (…) a wide experience in the real estate, both on Spanish and on European markets. His earlier responsabilities embraced: asset management, mergers and adquistions, corporate development of shopping centers, offices and hotels. He has cooperated with Carrefour, Promodeico/ING Real Estate Development, Knight Frank and Inmobiliaria Chamartín, where he was a CEO.

Drago Capital, founded in 2000, (…) manages 12 vehicles that carry over 1.300 properties, basically office buildings, residential assets, trading premises, tourist apartments and hotels. The asset volume exceeds €2.700 million and the company gains €156 million from lease annually. Inside the protfolio, noteworthy are: the 32 Gran Vía and the 40 Miguel Yuste buildings in Madrid, 1.152 offices rented to Banco Santander and 105 offices to Bankia.
