Catalunya Banc reduces the volume of assets transferred to the “bad bank” in 112,8 million Euros.

The volume of assets transferred by the former Catalan savings bank to the Sareb has been established at 6.596 million Euros. Catalunya Banc has reduced the volume of assets transferred to the so called “bad bank” in 112,8 million Euros.

The deed of transfer of assets has been corrected on the 5th September in order to adequate the perimeter initially foreseen by the institution, in December 2012 and its exact configuration on the effective date of the transfer, the 31st December, as informed by Sareb to the National Share Market Commission.

The volume of assets transferred by the former Catalan savings bank is established at 6.596 million Euros. The institution has returned to Sareb the bonds received for the difference between both amounts, 112,8 million Euros.
