Ares Launches a Socimi to Invest €700M in Build-to-Rent

The US fund Ares is going to create a Socimi specialising in build-to-rent.

The new vehicle called Avalon Properties will make its debut on the MAB this year and plans to grow its residential portfolio to €700 million.

Ares, which has one of the largest build-to-rent portfolios in Spain, will endow its Socimi with homes from the purchase of turnkey projects as well as existing assets.
