Andalusia Approves Blueprint Decree on Tourist Housing

Andalusian Council of Tourism and Commerce, together with social and economics agents approved a draft of new law regulating use of houses intended for touriststs and found within the region boundaries.

The new law will come into force at the end of this summer and will be the first in Andalusia to regulate specifically property exploitation in the name of tourist accommodation. Dwellings will have to be rented as a whole or per rooms and for less than a month. In order to assure control and guarantee of services for visitors the Council will create a registry of lease contracts.

Among other measures, Andalusia modifies its Decree on tourist apartment establishments that from now on will recognise new house type: the earth lodge.
