The current buildings could be adapted within a period of around 18 months and the new buildings could be constructed “in parallel or subsequently”, meaning that the site could be ready by “the beginning of 2023, or we could begin to move in during 2023”, according to the Minister of Justice for the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Marín.
The Palmas Altas technological park is the largest technology-business complex in the south of Spain, with a constructed surface area of 100,000 m2. The project was designed by the architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners in association with Luis Vidal + Arquitectos and promoted jointly between the Town Hall of Sevilla and Abengoa, which occupies two thirds of the complex for its headquarters.
