Thousands of buyers of new homes have asked Aedas, Neinor, Habitat, Vía Célere and Metrovacesa to postpone the payment of their instalments as they have been affected by the Covid-19 crisis.

In mid-March, the main property developers in the sector, Vía Célere, Neinor Homes, Metrovacesa, Habitat Inmobiliaria and Aedas Homes, jointly launched an initiative to defer the payment on account of the next two monthly instalments for customers who so requested it to mitigate the economic consequences resulting from Covid-19.

Just three weeks later, one in five of the customers of these real estate companies have asked to take advantage of the measure, according to exclusive information revealed to Brainsre.news. “The best way we have found of helping our clients has been to provide options, such as postponing the payment of instalments during the State of Emergency, and we have already received about 400 requests for these instalments to be deferred for a few months,” says José Ignacio Morales, CEO of Vía Célere.
