Portugal Dominates at the World Travel Awards 2019

29 November 2019 – Jurors elected Portugal, for the third time in a row, the World’s Best Leading Destination at the 2019 World Travel Awards, at a gala awards ceremony that took place today, November 28, in Oman.

Turismo de Portugal was also, for the third time in a row, considered the World’s Leading Tourist Board.

Furthermore, Portugal won awards for being the “Best City Break Destination in the World” (Lisbon), “Best Island Destination in the World” (Madeira) and “Best Tourist Attraction in the World in the Adventure Segment” (Paiva Walkways), adding up to more than a dozen awards in total.
