In May, the level of activity in the urban rehabilitation sector registered a “significant increase” of 41.8% in year-on-year terms, also increasing by 5.1% compared to the previous month. The contracted production, in months, i.e. the guaranteed working time at a normal production rate, was reached 7.5 months, which is a slight decrease compared to the same period of the previous year.

The information was included in June’s Urban Rehabilitation Barometer, released by the Association of Civil Construction and Public Works Industries (AICCOPN).

According to the report, there was an increase of 45.7% in year-on-year terms and 10.4% in the Production Orders Backlog Index when compared to the previous month. “It should be noted that this indicator has registered a growth rate of more than 40% for seven consecutive months,” the association added.
