29 November 2017

The 16th edition of the Agreed Rental Program was recently launched. Interested parties have until January 5 to apply.

A two bedroom in Santa Clara for €224, 52 square meters in the Parque das Nações for €176 and a three-bedroom in the Olivais for €199. These are some of the apartments (and prices) that are part of the 16th edition of the Agreed Rental Program (Programa Renda Convencionada). Applications for the Re-habitar Lisbon program, run by the Lisbon City Hall, opened this Monday, November 27.

More than 14 dwellings, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom apartments with rents from €114 to €268. Considering the current prices of houses in Lisbon, we have to make it clear that yes, these rents are per month.

People who are over 18 years old, Portuguese or with a Portuguese residence permit and who own no real estate can apply. The applicant’s gross monthly income must be compatible with a minimum effort rate of 10% and a maximum of 40% in relation to the rent. The evaluation are made at the application stage, in Re-habitar Lisbon’s simulator.

Applications are open until January 5, 2018. You can see the available homes Re-Habitar Lisboa’s website.
