Prices Rise in Every Region in Portugal Except for the Azores

Housing prices rose in every region in Portugal except for the Azores. The Idealista’s price index showed that price of homes rose again by an average of 4.5% in the second quarter of 2019, reaching a high of 1,932 euros per square meter. Prices fell, however, in the Azores.

The largest increases were seen Greater ​Lisbon (+6.5%), followed by the Centre (+4%), Algarve (+3.9%), Madeira (+3.1%) and the Alentejo (+1.5%).
