Lisbon: Douradores 168, a Prime Rehabilitation

24 November 2017

With sales by Cais d’Espirais and management under AG Capital Portugal, the new venture Douradores 168, in the middle of downtown Lisbon, is expected to be put on the market soon.

Twelve apartments, twelve investment opportunities: Douradores 168. The architectural project was designed by Contacto Atlântico, run by André Caiado.

The project is focused on “the alteration of the existing property located on Rua dos Douradores 168, with 1,255.21 m² of gross building area”. It is an almost hundred-year-old office building that, although apparently of the Pombalino style, was reconstructed in concrete.

According to Contacto Atlântico, the goal was “altering the façades, mainly concerning the ground and top floors, changing of the use of the ground floor to commerce and the upper floors for housing, and providing the building with technical and functional characteristics appropriate to the proposed uses.”

Two small shops were created on the ground floor, each with about 95 sqm. The 5-storey building offers 12 apartments of different types: one studio, seven one-bedrooms and four two-bedroom flats.

The creation of the development’s visual identity, the elaboration of the commercial brochure and the production of the promotional film was the responsibility of Beyondesign.
