Lisbon City Hall Cedes Land Rights for a New Mixed Development Based on a Museum of Advertising

18 July 2020 – The Lisbon City Hall has granted surface rights, for 75 years, to a plot for land in Restelo for the construction of a project centred on the Casa do Publicitário.

Ricardo Monteiro, the former president and global chairman of the Havas Group, is leading the €14 million-project. It will include a museum of advertising, along with offices for the headquarters of entities representing the advertising sector (the Portuguese Association of Advertising Agencies (APAP), Clube de Criativos and the Academia Portuguesa de Cinema), a 40-unit assistance centre for senior citizens, 30 university residences with affordable prices and a three-room congress centre.
