Investments Raised Via Golden Visas Fall Sharply in November

17 December 2019 – Investments raised through Portugal’s golden visas fell by 51.9% year-on-year in November to 37 million euros, according to the country’s Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF). The month-on-month figure dropped 38% from 59.9 million euros.

Of the investment in November, 33.9 million euros stemmed from the acquisition of real estate, while 3.1 million euros resulted in capital transfers. The Portuguese government issued a total of 64 golden visas.
