Housing Prices in Portugal Up By 7.6% to 1,304 Euros

3 December 2019 – The average residential bank valuation for use in the approval process for potential mortgage loans rose by 0.4% m-o-m in October to reach 1,304 euros. According to Portugal’s statistics agency, the INE, the average price per square meter rose for the 31st consecutive month, up by 7.6%, or 92 euros, year-on-year.

The new average value per square meter is a high for the series, which began in September 2008.
