Forte da Ervilha: Historic Fort in Porto Converted into Luxury Flats

The Forte da Ervilha, a military base in Porto that played a part the Portuguese Civil War (1828-1834), has been converted into a new housing complex. Located in Foz do Porto, in the heart of the historic centre, the 32-flat development has flats ranging from three to five bedrooms, with views of the sea.
The Ervilha development was designed by Granja Arquitectos Associados, who divided the space into two blocks of flats, one that is four storeys high, the other six. The complex also has 114 parking spaces and a total gross building area of 8,559 m2.
