10 Luxury Flats to be Built in the Former Headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation

The 25-year-old Praça da Alegria building, the headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) for 36 years – was sold at the end of 2015 for 4.2 million euros. The developer will now convert the building into flats, as it fully rehabilitates the property. The new development will comprise ten luxury flats, including two and three bedroom apartments along with duplexes and triplexes.

Chronos Real Estate is developing the new residence, called Alegria 25, which is located on the historic Praça da Alegria, next to Avenida da Liberdade, in Lisbon. In Loco Property Investments is in charge of sales.

“With a project led by the renowned architect Samuel Torres de Carvalho, Alegria 25 seeks to offer the comfort of a private and insular environment with all the advantages and amenities of a big city,” the company said in a statement.

Vasco Champalimaud Jardim, the head of In Loco Property Investments, believes that “Alegria 25 is a unique project.” “Everything was designed so that you can enjoy exclusive details, whether in the richness of the Portuguese tiles on the facade or in the low reliefs present in this Pombaline building’s finishings, giving it a typically Portuguese essence,” he added.

The eight apartments and two townhouses’ areas range from 131 square meters (m2) to 288 m2, and all have allocated parking. “Some of the flats even have a private garden,” In Loco Property Investments concluded.
