Vogue Homes Has 14 Projects Worth €250MM in its Pipeline

Vogue Homes, an investment and property management company, has a portfolio of real estate assets that includes 14 projects worth more than 250 million euros.

The first phase includes four separate projects located in Lisbon, Dafundo and Porto. Joaquim Silva Lico, the company’s CEO, told Idealista that “Our projects in Bom Sucesso, São Carlos, Marechal Gomes da Costa (Porto) and Dafundo projects will begin during the months of October/November.”

The Bom Sucesso project is a redevelopment of a former university building on Lisbon’s riverfront. The development involves the construction of 47 flats in three different buildings. Vogue Homes will also refurbish a Pombaline-style building on Largo de São Carlos into residences, while maintaining the ground-floor shops.

Also in the capital, on Rua das Portas de Santo Antão, the Atheneu Comercial de Lisboa will be transformed into a residential project, “which aims to bring new life to the iconic building and an area that currently has few residents”, the executive explained. “This project is being developed jointly with the institution that formerly owned it, the ACL – Atheneu Comercial de Lisboa, to preserve the history and identity of that institution.”

At Dafundo, near Algés, the Dafundo 24 development will include ten flats with parking and a shop. Finally, the company is moving ahead with its project for Marechal 720 in Porto. The development will be a private condominium with villas.

Vogue Homes also has other projects in Lisbon and other locations like Cascais and Setúbal, all of them designed by top architectural studios such as Miguel Saraiva and Associates, CPU Architects and Open Book Architecture. However, Mr da Costa admits that maintaining a similar pace will be difficult due to current market prices: “it will be very difficult to continue with this growth, given that sellers have unrealistic expectations at the moment, in spite of the growing demand for homes.” However, “we are always looking for new challenges to continue a story that we began in 2013 so that every day our brand can be increasingly seen as a benchmark,” he concluded.
