Vincci Hoteles Opens Hotel in Porto in €29-Million Investment

The four-star Vincci Ponte de Ferro is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, right next to the Dom Luís I Bridge.
After celebrating its twentieth anniversary, Vincci Hoteles has opened a new hotel in the Greater Porto. The new establishment is the hotel chain’s second hotel in the city Porto (together with Vincci Porto) and its fourth hotel in Portugal (together with Vincci Baixa and Vincci Liberdade in Lisbon).
Vincci Ponte de Ferro has 94 spacious rooms, many with magnificent views over the river, the D. Luís I bridge and the city. The rooms have all the amenities that characterize Vincci Hotels and include standard and superior rooms and a top-floor suite with panoramic views.
On the 12th floor, there is the terrace where guests can contemplate the view and the sunset while enjoying cocktails and excellent food in the “6 Ponte Sky Bar”. During the day, its swimming pool helps with the summer heat after a walk around the city.
The property’s new owner, the asset management company Caler Advisory & Asset Management, manager of the RSR Singular Assets Europe investment fund, managed the acquisition, licensing, refurbishment and project management until it was handed over to Vincci Hoteles, the operator.
The architectural project was carried out by the architect José Gigante and the Barcelona studio GGV Architecture.
