Vila Galé Set to Begin €6m Works on New Hotel in Serra da Estrela

The Vila Galé Group is finalising plans to begin construction of its new hotel in Serra da Estrela in Manteigas, in an investment of 6 million euros.
According to the Portuguese hotel group, Vila Galé Serra da Estrela’s licensing process is almost complete, and works are due to start at the beginning of next year.
The new mountain resort will be located in the Zêzere glacier valley and is due to come on stream at the end of 2018. The hotel will have 81 rooms, an outdoor heated pool, restaurant, lobby bar, spa, event hall and parking, among other amenities.
