8 August 2018

The results of the first half of the year show that the urban rehabilitation market is experiencing a period of dynamism. The level of activity increased by 42.8% in June compared to the same period last year, and the order book grew by 29.3%. The data comes from the Urban Rehabilitation Barometer, released by the Association of Civil Construction and Public Works Industries (AICCOPN).

The contracted production in months, the guaranteed working time at a normal production rate, reached 7.6 months, an increase of 2.4% year-on-year.

“It should be noted that in the first six months of 2018 both the Activity Level Index and the Order Portfolio Index registered strong year-on-year growth, with average monthly increases of 40.4% and 54.8%, respectively,” AICCOPN announced in a statement.

An increase of 29.3% year-on-year in the order book was observed in June. The order book also rose month-on-month, by 4.7%.
