Portugal is the Home of Europe’s Best Hostel

The Blue Boutique Hostel & Suites, located in Cascais, was voted as the best in Europe and the fourth in the world. There were two more Portuguese hostels in the Top 10, the Easy Lisbon Hostel in Lisbon was the eighth and Casa d’Alagoa, in Faro took 9th place.

The prestigious Hostel of the Year Awards, also known as the HOSCAR awards, annually awards the best hostels in the world.

In 2017, the Blue Boutique Hostel & Suites was the best ranked of all Portuguese hostel. According to Juan Matias, the owner of Blue Boutique Hostel & Suites, “once again, this proves that Portugal has great projects and makes a difference in tourism, primarily for our above-average quality. To see Blue Boutique take first place in Europe and fourth in the world ranking is the result of the effort and commitment that we put into all of the services we have to offer.”
