Porto’s Historic Centre Sees Investments of €146.9MM

The total amount of real estate transactions in Porto’s historic centre reached 146.9 million euros in 2018, an increase of 24% over the previous year (118.9 million euros), which itself saw growth of 19%. According to an article in the Diário Imobiliário, that figure corresponds to a total of 463 individual operations with an average value of 319,300 euros per transaction.

According to data published by Confidencial Imobiliário, the city blocks of Vitória/Taipas and São Bento/Sé received the largest percentage of investments at 37% each, equivalent to roughly 54 million euros), growing more than 70%.
