Porto’s Edifício Emporium to be Converted into a Luxury Condominium

The Edifício Emporium, an iconic building from the 1940s in downtown Porto, will be converted into a luxury condominium. The art deco building, in the prime area of Sá da Bandeira, will comprise 23 one- to four-bedroom flats, with areas ranging from 79 m2 to 195 m2 and with prices running from 330,000 euros to 1.2 million euros (for a four-bedroom penthouse on the 4th floor). The executive Alexandre Quintas e Sousa, together with two partners, acquired the property from the RAR Group.
The asset is located on the corner of Rua Sá da Bandeira and Rua Guedes de Azevedo and will include a large, 800 m2 garden and parking. The developers put JLL and Predibisa in charge of marketing.
