20 May 2020 – The Finland-based company Pontos Group is set to invest approximately 30 million euros in developing Villas Alcedo, a 12-luxury villa condominium. Pontos will build the next development on a plot of land next to the Viceroy at Ombria Resort hotel, which the firm also owns. Construction of the villas will be on separate parcels of land, with sizes ranging from 1,700 m2 to 3,300 m2. The villas themselves will have total construction areas of between 387 and 569 m2, with three to seven bedrooms, heated swimming pools, elevators and a garage for three cars. Every house will have large gardens overlooking the Ombria Resort golf course.
According to the developer, it is selling the villas with approved projects designed by the Portuguese architectural firm, Promontorio. This will allow buyers the flexibility to adapt the villas’ interiors and finishings to their particular preferences. Construction on the first villa is scheduled to begin in the next months, with prices starting at 2,550,000 euros.
Pontos will offer to manage the maintenance and rental of the homes through the Ombria Resort, which would provide all these services through the hotel operator, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts. Buyers will also have access to the facilities at the Viceroy Hotel and the Ombria Resort golf course.
