New Regus Office Centre Opens in Historic Building in Porto

Porto is now home a new Regus office workspace. The Regus Batalha, located in the centre of Porto, next to the São João National Theatre, is the company’s largest workspace in Portugal, with more than 5,000 square meters of flexible workspaces, both co-working and private spaces. The centre can house more than 700 professionals.
The Regus flex-office centre is in a historic building, one which once housed the former Civil Government of Porto. The space was remodelled to conform to the company’s standards, introduce areas for co-working and a range of different sized office spaces.
Jorge Valdeira, the country manager for Regus Portugal, stated that “this centre takes aim at the growing demand for workspaces in the historic centre of Porto,” highlighting the area’s facilities, including a wide range of services, restaurants, shopping and culture. The office building also benefits from an excellent location, with easy access to public transport such as the metro or the train.
The Regus global serviced office network, a part of the IGW group, is present in 120 countries with more than 3,000 office centres in more than 900 cities.
