New Housing Construction Costs Rose 0.9% in May
8 July 2020 – New housing construction costs increased by 0.9% in May, compared to a 0.3% rise during the month before, according to the INE’s New Housing Construction Costs Index (ICCHN).
At the same time, the cost of materials rose by 0.6% (0.8% in April). Labour costs increased by 1.4%, compared to +1.8% in the month before.
