Moxy Opens its First Hotel in Portugal

18 June 2020 Moxy, a hotel chain owned by Marriott, which targets millennials, has completed work on a new hotel in Parque das Nações, near the Gare do Oriente in Lisbon. Hoti Hotels will operate the unit under a management contract.

The building, which was designed by the architectural studio Broadway Malyan, was built by the Belgian developer Krest Real Estate Investments. The latter firm is also currently building an office tower, called K-Tower, next door to the hotel.

The three-star hotel will 222 rooms – some with river views, along with high-speed internet, onsite parking, gym, meeting rooms, a library and terraces. The hotel’s reception is located at the entrance to the hotel bar and the hotel’s design focuses on interactivity and industrial chic.
