Merlin Properties Opens a 45,000-m2 Logistics Platform for Lease in Lisbon

The new logistics facility already has a state-of-the-art warehouse with 45,171 square metres of gross leasable area, divided into six modules.

This Tuesday, Merlin Properties inaugurated the Merlin Lisboa Park logistics park, which already has a state-of-the-art warehouse with 45,171 square metres of gross leasable area.

The company has a strong commitment to the sector. In total, the park has a gross building area of 224,864 m2 and will be the largest logistics park in Portugal.

“The success of this development is further proof of the excellent moment that the logistics sector is experiencing in the Peninsula, driven by the growth of e-commerce,” the company noted. Between January and March, the company concluded and delivered projects resulting in additional revenues of 5.3 million euros for the rest of the year, mainly from Azuqueca II and Cabanillas Park I G.

Merlin Lisboa Park, is located in Lisbon’s main logistics area, in Castanheira do Ribatejo (Alverca-Azambuja axis), and has direct connections to the A-1 (Lisbon-Porto motorway), to the A-10 (motorway link to the south and east of Portugal) and to the A-9 (external ring road around Lisbon).

Furthermore, it is located 30 kilometres from the centre of Lisbon and has a passenger and goods railway station at the entrance to the park, with a direct connection to the capital. The park will also host the Jerónimo Martins Group’s future logistics centre, whose development is scheduled to begin soon.
