Manor in Foz do Porto to be Converted into Luxury Residential Flats

6 September 2018

The property at 156 Avenida de Montevideu, in Foz, Porto, is being rehabilitated and converted as a part of a larger project involving luxury residential flats. Facing the sea, the manor’s conversion project, which will include new construction, will involve an investment of 18 million euros, carried out by the joint venture Quantico-Albatross, the main investors and advisors to the Vesta Real Estate Fund. Predibisa is in charge of sales.

The developers are building two blocks of luxury apartments with a total construction area of 5,545 square meters (m2), including above and below-ground areas. The flats price per square meter is expected to range from 8,000 to 10,000 euros, with the new houses starting at two million euros.

Homes, surrounded by green, and overlooking the sea

The two new apartment blocks will have balconies and four and five above-ground floors, respectively. The manor itself will be transformed into one or two large flats with easy access, private gardens and swimming pools. The outdoor spaces are also one of the project’s strengths, due to the surrounding nature, a wide green garden area with protected species and a view of the sea.

The project provides for the preservation of the property’s original facade, maintaining its classic charm while, “adapting it for stand-out conditions of comfort, modernity and tranquillity”, with “all materials, finishes, functionalities and landscaping following standards of luxury, based on attention to detail and excellence, making this a highly exclusive luxury housing,” Predibisa announced in a statement.

The investors “have invited well-known architects to explore the concept, which will be finalised shortly.” At that time, the total number of flats will be defined, with between 15 and 18, mostly large, three- to five-bedroom flats aimed at families, expected.
