Luxury Flats Going Up at Lisbon’s Palácio do Patriarcado

23 December 2020 – The iconic Palácio do Patriarcado in Lisbon’s neighbourhood of Campo dos Mártires da Pátria will be converted into a luxury residence. The 18th-century building, where John Paul II stayed during his visit to Lisbon, has been vacant for years. The proposal for the project was approved at an extraordinary meeting of the Lisbon City Council.

The development would join three buildings, one of which is the Palácio do Patriarcado. The developer plans to build 39 one-to-five-bedroom luxury flats, including a penthouse with a swimming pool and 57 underground parking spaces.
