Lisbon’s Casal Ribeiro to Become Luxury Housing

3 May 2018

Stakecorp’s new venture is called Casal Ribeiro, and it will be the result of the rehabilitation of a building from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The project was designed by Saraiva + Associados, by the architect Miguel Saraiva.

The venture will be made up of 77 flats, ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments. The building will have a swimming pool, gym and various facilities, including 24-hour security and a concierge service. The flats are divided into four blocks with alternating styles and concepts: Action, Selection, Collection and View.

Located on the corner of the Avenida Casal Ribeiro with the street Actor Taborda, in one of the most popular areas of Lisbon, the project is being sold by JLL and Christie’s Porta da Frente, which have co-exclusivity.

The restoration preserved the building’s original historical identity, including not just the façades but also the interior, maintaining its elegance.

Patrícia Barão, Head of Residential of JLL, believes that “the Casal Ribeiro project while recuperating the building’s architecture and centennial identity, will deliver a range of types of flats in this area of the city – from 49-m2 studios to a 223-m2 penthouse. With its four innovative concepts, the property is an exceptional offering, with excellent potential for buyers who may be looking for a house to live or invest in.”

Rafael Ascenso, the general director of Christie’s Porta da Frente, emphasised that “with a concept that exudes Art and Aesthetics, combining comfort with the use of high-quality materials, the Casal Ribeiro building will provide a unique and exclusive experience, where each flat is an exceptional discovery.”
