Incus Capital Buys Portfolio of Industrial & Logistics Assets

Consisting of seven properties in different areas of mainland Portugal and Madeira, the portfolio of high-quality assets totalling approximately 74,000 m2 of 100% occupied gross leasable area was previously owned by Fundo Logística e Distribuição. CBRE’s Capital Advisors team worked with several financial institutions to secure the necessary funds, obtaining favourable financing conditions.

According to Igor Borrego, Associate Director, Capital Advisors, CBRE, “the Industrial and Logistics sector is the centre of the attention of investors from all over Europe, although the dynamism has so far been less apparent in Portugal. Therefore, supporting Incus throughout the financing process was a very attractive challenge in which we defended [our client’s] strategy, analysed the sector and the market and contacted a number of financial institutions. We are very pleased with the value we managed to generate for our client, and we also believe that the fact that financial institutions are increasingly available to support real estate investment projects is a positive, one that should only grow in the coming months.”
