Housing Sales at RE/MAX Rise Over The Last 12 Months

1 October 2019 – The number of residential real estate transactions has risen over the last 12 months in Portugal. According to the broker RE/MAX Portugal, the firm sold 371 properties during that period, or more than one per day, mostly for rehabilitation.  The average price paid reached €684,014.

83% of the buyers were Portuguese. Most of the acquisitions were made in Lisbon (43.2%), followed by Setúbal (16.4%) and Porto (13.2%). Once again, the French were the most significant foreign buyers of real estate in the country.
