Housing Prices up by 10.3% in Portugal

20 January 2020 The price of homes rose by 10.3% in Portugal in the third quarter of 2019, compared to the same period in 2018, one of the biggest increases in the European Union, Eurostat announced.

Housing prices rose by 4.1% both in the Eurozone and the European Union in the third quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter of 2018. Housing price growth in Portugal was the fourth largest in the European Union, year-on-year. Only Latvia, Slovakia and Luxembourg saw higher increases (13.5%, 11.5% and 11.3%, respectively).
