Grupo Pestana Has Three Hotels Among the Best in Portugal and Europe

The 2017 World Travel Awards were awarded to the Pestana Porto Santo All Inclusive & Spa Beach Resort, Pestana Palace Lisbon and Pestana CR7 Funchal.

Grupo Pestana won three ‘Oscars’ from the global tourism industry. Three of its hotels were awarded as the best of their class at the Portuguese and European level, at the World Travel Awards Europe 2017 ceremony, which has been taking place in St. Petersburg, Russia.

For the fourth consecutive year, the Pestana Porto Santo All Inclusive & Spa Beach Resort has received the award for ‘Europe’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort’.

Pestana Palace Lisbon won the category of ‘Europe’s Leading Luxury Business Hotel’, and Pestana CR7 Funchal was elected ‘Portugal’s Leading Boutique Hotel.’

Created in 1993, the World Travel Awards recognise the best examples of good practice in the tourism sector on a global scale.

The voting is carried out by the public and by more than 200,000 travel professionals from 160 countries. these three awards, Grupo Pestana has already won 12 World Travel Awards since receiving the first of these awards in 2007.
