DHM to Bring Ramada By Wyndham to Lisbon

Olaias Park, a hotel in the portfolio of Discovery Hotel Management (DHM), will begin to be operated by the international brand Ramada by Wyndham through a long-term franchise agreement signed between the Portuguese group and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
Patrick Divall, Western European Regional Vice President for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, states: “Portugal’s social prosperity, picturesque cities and varied landscapes, as well as Lisbon’s status as a European capital city, continue to attract tourists and business travellers from around the world. Ramada by Wyndham is our most global brand, and we are excited to add Portugal to a growing list of more than 60 countries around the world where the brand has a presence.”
Francisco Moser, the Managing Director of DHM, in an interview with Publituris, had already revealed the intention to franchise some of DHM’s portfolio units. “Throughout the world, Ramada by Wyndham is sought after by travellers who are looking for an internationally recognised brand that is dear and familiar to them. We are delighted to bring the brand to Portugal and look forward to matching our high standards of hotel management with the visibility, distribution and scalability that Wyndham Hotels & Resorts offers us. ”
The new Ramada by Wyndham Lisbon has been redesigned by Broadway Malyan. The 300-room hotel also includes two floors for conferences and events, with 11 meeting rooms and a state-of-the-art auditorium that can accommodate up to 280 people.
With about 850 locations in more than 60 countries, this is the first Ramada by Wyndham hotel t open in Portugal.
