Construction Costs for New Housing Rise in Portugal

12 March 2020 – Construction costs for new homes increased by 2.6% in January, compared to the same period last year, according to estimates by Portugal’s National Statistics Institute (INE). That figure represents an increase of 0.5% compared to December.  

At the same time, the cost of labor increased by 6.2% in January, 2.2% more than in December.
