Construction Costs for New Housing Continue Climb

Construction costs for new housing increased by 2% in January, year-on-year, while falling by 0.7% since the previous month, the National Statistics Institute (INE) announced in its New Housing Construction Cost Index (ICCHN).
Labour costs led the increase, rising by 3.4% compared to January 2018, while the price of materials increased by 1%.
