Aldi Opens its first shop in Guifões in a 4 million euro investment

The food retailer opened its first store in Guifões on April 26th, making it the fourth Aldi store in the Matosinhos municipality. The store has a total sales area of 1.000 square meters and the construction project allowed for the improvement of the urban environment around the store, the redevelopment of part of Avenida Doutor Salgado Zenha where it is located, and the construction of a roundabout for customer convenience. The new store’s opening has helped to revitalize the local area and improve access to grocery shopping for nearby residents.

Alegria One reaches 100% occupancy rate

EastBanc Portugal’s latest redevelopment project, Alegria One, has achieved 100% occupancy rate. The building, designed by architect Eduardo Souto Moura, has 2,800 square meters of construction area, 7 floors, and around 2.200 square meters of commercial space. The office floors are currently occupied by companies such as Dior, Dentsply Sirona, Faber Ventures, and Portugal Homes, and the building is fully adapted to new market trends.

Hilton invests 60 million euros and plans to open four hotels this year

Hilton plans to open four new hotels in Portugal in 2023, with an investment of approximately 60 million euros, and to double its hotel network in the country over the next three years. The hotel chain is also strengthening its current teams in the eight hotels it currently operates in Portugal. This year, Hilton will open the Hilton Garden Inn Évora, Legacy Hotel Cascais, Curio Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton Lagoa Azores, with a total investment of around 60 million euros. The Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Porto was opened earlier this year with an investment of 15,4 million euros.

Belas Clube de Campo Invests 18 million euros in Orion project

Belas Clube Campo has launched its new project, the Orion building, which cost 18 million euros to develop. The development, designed by architect Eduardo Capinha Lopes, consists of 34 apartments ranging from T1 to T5, with prices starting at 360.000 euros and spread across three floors. The Orion building includes large gardens, a garage, a storage area, and a commercial services area. The project is currently being launched with exclusive conditions and will be completed by the end of 2025.
