More Than 3,815 Young People Will Receive Subsidies to Pay Rent

More than 3,815 young people will receive support from the Institute of Housing and Urban Restoration (IHRU) in the form of subsidies to pay rents under the Porta 65-Jovem program.

The Porta 65-Jóvem housing subsidy program, which was launched in 2007, consists of monthly subsidies for a certain percentage of young peoples’ rent, which can be renewed for up to three years, with people between the ages of 18 and 35 included as possible beneficiaries. Applications that include minors and people with disabilities and who are in specific locations are also considered. The program holds four application periods per year.
