3 & 6-Month Euribor Rates Fall as 12-Month Holds Steady

The six-month Euribor rate, the most widely used in Portugal for mortgage loans, fell today to -0.523%, down 0.002 points from the current minimum of -0.534% on January 28.

The current high since at least January 2015 came on April 23, when the six-month Euribor rose to -0.114%.

The 12-month Euribor rate, for its part, remained at -0.503%, compared to the record low of -0.515% on February 2. The rate has risen to its highest point since at least January 2015 from -0.053% on April 22.

The three-month Euribor fell by 0.004 points to -0.540% from a historic low of -0.556% on January 6.
